Le 11 novembre 2017, les ministres d’Australie, du Brunei Darussalam, du Canada, du Chili, du Japon, de la Malaisie, du Mexique, de Nouvelle-Zélande, du Pérou, de Singapour et du Vietnam « se sont mis d’accord sur les éléments clé de l’Accord global et progressif de Partenariat transpacifique (AGP-PTP) » à Da Nang, au Vietnam.
