Physical activity in Winnipeg falls below national average

"As Winnipeggers gear up for back to school and fall recreational programs data released Wednesday from Peg shows physical activity in Winnipeg is lower than the majority of Canada. Data released by Statistics Canada shows that in 2014 52.4 per cent of Winnipeggers were only ‘sometimes’ or ‘often’ physically active during leisure time down from the 54.3 per cent five years earlier."
