Scott Emery
Communications Assistant
Scott Emery is a communications assistant for the Economic Law and Policy program. Alongside his cross-programmatic work, Scott supports IISD’s Investment and Tax and Sovereign Debt teams, and the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (CCICED).
Scott brings communications experience from across the non-profit sector, having worked with the United Nations Development Programme, Rainforest Trust UK, Citizens UK, and several climate-focused campaigns in the United Kingdom and his native country, Ecuador, where he worked with the Baihuaeri Waorani Indigenous Peoples for 4 years.
Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in politics from Queen Mary University of London, and a master’s degree in strategic communications from King’s College London.
Based in London, Scott speaks English and Spanish.
