Mary Grace Gabis-Reyes
Senior Policy Advisor
Mary Grace Gabis-Reyes is a senior policy advisor leading the implementation of IISD’s Emissions Ambition for Southeast Asia (EASE) and Energy is the Key to a Climate Stable Future (EnerKey) projects in the Philippines.
Prior to joining IISD, Grace served as a government officer at the Philippine Department of Energy, where she led the formulation of the country’s long-term Power Development Plan and National Renewable Energy Program. She developed public policies on grid integration, renewable portfolio standards, and the preferential dispatch of renewable energy in the electricity market.
Grace holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of the Philippines and a master’s degree in energy, resource, and environmental policy from Korea University. She was also a mentee of the U.S. government-supported Female Leaders in Energy Program and is a Three Cairns Fellow.
