The workshop took a detailed look at today’s trade and investment regimes, examining these through the lens of how such regimes affect inequality, and what governance gaps and opportunities could be addressed if these regimes were re-imagined around the objective of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
The workshop included sessions on market access, e-commerce, competition policy, and industrial policy. A detailed event agenda is available below, as are background papers prepared by IISD in advance of the meeting. Please note that event attendance is by invitation only.
