We are co-hosting a one-day event on advancing sustainability through data-sharing and addressing certification challenges in Nairobi on March 6.
Voluntary Sustainability Standards (VSSs) have become increasingly important in international commodity sectors. Their growth and impact in the Kenyan tea sector are clear examples.
This is why our meeting, in collaboration with the Kenyan Tea Directorate and Kenyan Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA), will bring together key stakeholders in the tea sector to share methodologies and impact data; identify and address challenges in the sector; and identify tools and policies that can make voluntary sustainability standards a more effective sustainable development tool.
