REDD Development Dividend Task Force Meeting Report
IISD and ASB-ICRAF held the first meeting of the REDD Development Dividend Task Force on January 25-26, 2011 in Manila, Philippines.
Through constructive discussion and lively debate, a number of critical issues were identified for consideration in the elaboration of REDD-plus. This meeting report identifies key messages and conclusions from the Task Force meeting and includes all relevant background materials. Three short discussion documents were also developed for the meeting—Striking a Balance in REDD: Delivering Robust Implementation and Multiple Benefits; Strengthening MRV (Measurement, Reporting and Verification) for REDD; and Addressing Safeguards.
