Sara Daniels
Chair of the Board, IISD Experimental Lakes Area
Sara Daniels is the Chair of the Board of Directors of IISD Experimental Lakes Area and the Associate Vice-President of Government Relations at the University of Saskatchewan.
With a strong background in higher education and public policy, she previously held senior roles at Dalhousie University and the University of Alberta. Sara also served as Executive Director of the Metis Settlements Appeals Tribunal and began her career with the Metis Settlements General Council. Raised on Fishing Lake Metis Settlement, she holds a Master’s in Political Science from the University of Alberta. A dedicated policy professional, she also chairs the Government Relations Officers Network, supporting collaboration across Canadian post-secondary institutions.
