Rabbiya Hamdani

Program Manager, IISD-ELA

Rabbiya Hamdani is a Program Manager with IISD Experimental Lakes Area.

She has extensive experience in program and project management (including planning, budgeting, contract management, financial and human resourcing, liaison, outcomes tracking and performance reporting). In her work as Program Manager with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade (DFAT), she managed complex multi-year health and gender projects as well as the Australian Government’s development contracts. As a senior program officer with DFAT, she managed the Australian Government’s multi-million-dollar nutrition and food security programs, spearheading multiple high-level Country missions and chaired Donor Coordination Groups.

Rabbiya holds a Master of Business Administration (Development Economics, International Business, Marketing) from the NUST Business School and certificate in Child Nutrition from Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.
