Madhulika Verma
Senior Communications Officer
Madhulika is a senior communications officer at IISD’s Energy program, based in India. She began her career as a journalist, working on the editorial desk of broadcast news, where she developed an interest in storytelling and narrative building.
Before joining IISD, Madhulika worked with Climate Trends, a strategic communication organization, where she actively coordinated with editors and journalists to shape stories on various aspects of energy transition, climate change, and electric mobility.
Madhulika has also worked with the international campaigning and advocacy organization Greenpeace India, leading communications for renewable energy projects, energy transition, and addressing air pollution.
Madhulika holds a postgraduate degree in journalism and media management, as well as a degree in philosophy.
