Georg Pallaske

Associate

Georg Pallaske is an Associate with the Economic Law and Policy program, focusing on sustainable infrastructure and public procurement. 

Georg helped develop the Sustainable Asset Valuation (SAVi) methodology and he conducts research, writes reports and provides training to partners, helping communities mitigate and adapt to the effects of climate change with the Nature-Based Infrastructure Global Resource Centre. Georg manages various NBI project assessments across the world, helping stakeholders make a case for nature-based and hybrid infrastructure solutions and increase community resilience. He also leads training sessions and webinars for the NBI Academy.

With the infrastructure team, Georg is spearheading the development of state-of-the-art methodologies and tools to push the boundaries of conventional project analysis. His focus is on integrating a variety of modelling methodologies, to provide a more holistic perspective on infrastructure investments. 

Georg is also a Project Manager at KnowlEdge Srl (KE), a consulting company supporting its clients in exploring socio-economic and environmental complexity to inform decision making for sustainability.

Prior to this, Georg worked in sustainability consulting and  sustainable project management. A trained systems modeler, Georg works with several modelling platforms across sectors.

Georg has studied and worked in Germany, Netherlands, Portugal and Norway. He speaks German, English and Dutch fluently and has basic to advanced knowledge of French and Spanish.
