Desiree Langenfeld
Biologist, IISD-ELA
Desiree Langenfeld is a biologist with the pELAstics project at IISD Experimental Lakes Area.
In this capacity, she has worked on the planktonic food web, helping to coordinate and manage daily fieldwork activities related to the pELAstic project which explores the impact of microplastic pollution on freshwater lakes.
She holds a Master of Science in entomology and a Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from the University of Manitoba.
