Carlos Socarras Estrada is a Program Assistant with IISD’s Tracking Progress team, providing exceptional financial guidance and support to colleagues reporting from international environmental negotiations, advising governments on moving beyond GDP, connecting the Geneva SDG community, or tracking progress on the 2030 Agenda.
Prior to IISD, Carlos Socarras worked in the private sector, including a number of years in senior roles at Bancolombia S.A. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and International Business from Universidad Tecnológica de Bolívar.
