Leveraging Intraregional Trade of Organic Products from the Eastern Africa Region

In collaboration with the East African Community (EAC), the African Organic Agriculture Network, and the National Organic Agricultural Movement of Uganda, IISD convened a multistakeholder workshop to explore strategies for enhancing the formal trade of organic products in the EAC.

The workshop served as a platform for policymakers, national bureaus of standards, organic producers, certification bodies, and value chain actors to engage in dialogue and co-create solutions for strengthening the formal trade of organic products in the continent.
