High-Level Preparatory Launch Event for the 14th Annual Forum of Developing Country Investment Negotiators

The International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) and the Federal Government of Nigeria organized this online, invitation-only High-Level Preparatory Launch Event in the lead-up to the 14th Annual Forum of Developing Country Investment Negotiators.

This preparatory event announced the theme of the forthcoming 14th Annual Forum: Coherence in International Investment Governance, Crafting a Holistic Approach to Investments that Work for Sustainable Development. The virtual gathering provided an opportunity for participants to share views and insights on key topics that will be further developed in the lead-up to the Forum, which will be held in Abuja, Nigeria, in 2022.

The Annual Forum is designed to enable peer-to-peer exchanges that allow participants to share knowledge and experiences, discuss strategy and new ideas, and provide a vital networking opportunity for negotiators. To learn more about previous events, please visit the event homepage.
