[Zero] Carbon: Fossil finance

Canadian subsidies for fossil fuels are dropping and support for renewables is rising, but there's still a hefty gap—nearly three times more financial support to fossil fuels than renewables. "Canada is trending in the right direction, using more public money to roll out renewables and less to prop up fossil fuel sectors, but it is too early to celebrate," IISD's Nhat Do said.
