Arctic Future: The Circumpolar International Internship Newsletter - March 2010
The Arctic Future newsletter is sent out twice a year by the Circumpolar Young Leaders Program (CYLP) interns. In addition to the CYLP interns, young people from across Canada's Arctic contribute to the newsletter. It covers a broad range of issues that are pertinent to Arctic youth, and provides a platform for young people to share their views with over 1,000 newsletter subscribers. Topics include climate change, environmental issues, Canada's involvement with the Arctic Council, transportation to the north, and social issues affecting northern people such as suicide, substance abuse, child abuse and homelessness.
