Yelena Bugakova

Program Assistant

Yelena Bugakova is a program assistant with IISD's Economic Law and Policy team, based out of the Winnipeg office. Her expertise includes project management, planning and scheduling, risk analysis, and the development of project charters.

She has previously worked as an ambassador's administrator at the Spanish embassy in Kazakhstan, along with serving as a project management intern at BIT Space Development in Canada. Yelena holds a project management diploma from the University of Winnipeg, as well as master's and bachelor's degrees in regional studies from L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in Kazakhstan.
