Trine Schmidt

Policy Analyst, Geneva 2030 Ecosystem

Trine Schmidt is a Policy Analyst with the Geneva 2030 Ecosystem. Prior to joining this project run jointly by the United Nations SDG Lab and IISD, Trine worked as an Advisor for Sustainable Development at the Nordic Council of Ministers, facilitating Nordic cooperation for the SDGs. Following this, Trine worked as an Associate Expert at the UN Department of Global Communications helping build partnerships for the SDGs. 

Trine has an interdisciplinary academic background, with a Bachelor’s degree from Copenhagen Business School in International Business and Politics, and a Master’s degree from Copenhagen University in Global Development with a strong focus on sustainable development.
