Kyle Wiebe

Policy Advisor, Tracking Progress

Kyle is an urban planner (Master of Urban Planning, McGill University) who seeks to operationalize complex urban issues into actionable opportunities through research and analytics. Kyle’s work has a strong focus on innovation and human-centred design, and he has helped pioneer methods and indicators to drive evidence-based decision making around key urban issues including housing, public-transit, food security, and environmental sustainability. 
Since joining IISD in 2017, Kyle has helped cities and communities around the world implement the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by leveraging geo-spatial data and designing community dashboards.
