Katerina Klimas

Project Manager

Katerina Klimas is a project manager for IISD’s Energy Program and the Global Subsidies Initiative.

Prior to joining IISD, Katerina worked at an aerospace start-up where she was responsible for overall operations management, including contracts management, project management, project control, human resource management, as well as personnel and corporate security. She also spent nearly a decade working for the Canadian federal government, implementing policy and program files in the transportation sector with a focus on innovation, economic, and environmental issues.

Katerina holds a master's degree in environment and sustainability and a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies. She is based in Ottawa, Canada.
