Jon Grieve
Senior Communications Officer
Jon Grieve is a senior communications officer at IISD, leading on the activities of the Intergovernmental Forum on Mining, Minerals, Metals and Sustainable Development (IGF). He is currently based in Dublin, Ireland.
Jon has more than 10 years of experience working in various roles across the journalism and communications industries in the United Kingdom, Canada and the Republic of Ireland.
In his previous roles, Jon worked as a reporter, writing and editing articles for various British news outlets. As a communications officer, he worked on brand and reputation development, developed newsletters and press releases, and coordinated media coverage for important events.
Jon holds a bachelor’s degree in Asia Pacific studies and Russian civilization from the University of Leeds, as well as a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Salford.
