Deepak Sharma
Policy Analyst
Deepak Sharma is a policy analyst in IISD’s Energy Program. He works on data collection and analysis related to fossil fuels, clean energy (including renewable power and electric vehicles), energy business, and other energy policies. He is based in New Delhi.
Before joining IISD, Deepak worked with Integrated Research and Action for Development as a research analyst and with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited as a marketing officer.
Deepak holds a doctorate in economics and a master's degree in planning and development from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, as well as a master’s degree in business administration, infrastructure from TERI School of Advanced Studies in India.
