Becca Challis
Communications Officer
Becca Challis is a communications officer with the Economic Law and Policy program. Becca works to create content for programs, engage with the public, conduct media outreach, and create digital strategies.
Prior to joining IISD, Becca worked in publishing for a leading literary agency, assisting two directors on their lists of bestselling children’s authors. She has experience in creative and editorial work, contract negotiation, content creation, and social media management. Becca also worked as an environmental news reporter and features writer for ENDS Report, an industry publication across the carbon, environmental, and sustainability agenda.
Becca holds a bachelor’s degree in English and related literature from the University of York and a master’s degree in magazine journalism from City, University of London.
She is based in London, United Kingdom and speaks English.
