A working group established to propose reform of the French arbitration law published its report in March 2025. The report contains numerous suggestions, among which a proposal to unify the rules for domestic and international arbitrations, expanding the scope of arbitrable disputes, and clarifications regarding the courts’ supervisory jurisdiction. The reform efforts are motivated by the idea to unite various sources of French arbitration law into one single code.
