Online Training Workshop for Cambodia: How can policy-makers leverage voluntary sustainability standards (VSSs) for better agricultural practices?
This workshop convened government agencies, private sector actors, producers, and development organizations in Cambodia to learn about and discuss voluntary sustainability standards (VSSs). Specifically, the event focused on VSSs in the agricultural sector and the specific needs and interests of stakeholders working across different sub-sectors in Cambodia.
This workshop also presented the main findings from IISD's recent research on sustainability standards, providing examples from commodities relevant to Cambodia, such as rice, timber, palm oil, and bananas.
