On March 31, the three international organizations held a joint investment treaty conference in Paris. The overarching theme of the conference was “Modernising Investment Treaties to support the Sustainable Development Goals”. The various panels addressed topics such as benefits from modernised investment treaties, analysis of recent treatymaking trends, and practical avenues for achieving reform outcomes.
