From Lake Malawi to Lake Victoria, African women in science are revolutionizing how we study and understand our critical freshwater supplies.

 

This group of scientists travelled to IISD Experimental Lakes Area—the world’s freshwater laboratory—in Canada to discover new ways of working, share solutions, and meet their peers.

 

With some incredible results back home. Of course, there is still work to be done. But let’s also celebrate how much progress has been made.
