Andrea Bassi was invited to give a presentation on “Green Economy modeling Early approaches and latest advances, with insights from the experience of Kyrgyzstan” at the national workshop of modeling experts organized by GIZ in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, on May 20, 2019. Dr. Bassi presented an overview of the methods and models that can be used to assess the outcomes of low carbon development, including SAVi. The discussion focused on the social, economic, and environmental impacts of climate mitigation, an assessment that requires a systemic approach.
