IISD is exploring potential SAVi applications with the European Commission’s Directorate General for the Environment, Directorate General for Mobility and Transport, and Directorate General for Climate Action. SAVi is well placed to complement existing assessments by modelling complex systems, such as an economy, in a dynamic manner. In addition, the Directorate General representatives have acknowledged the benefits of SAVi’s unique approach in integrating environmental, social and economic impacts in the financial feasibility assessment of infrastructure projects.
