Integrated Policy Assessment for Country Environmental Assessments

Training modules developed for the World Bank

In cooperation with the World Bank Institute (WBI), IISD developed two training modules focused on integrated policy analysis and the use of sustainability indicators in policy assessment.

The methodology underlying the training module is developed on the basis of the World Bank's emerging Country Environment Analysis (CEA) approach and also draws on IISD's experience with UNEP's Global Environment Outlook (GEO). The modules were field-tested in a training workshop in Moscow as part of a World Bank capacity building initiative.
