Erika Luna

Junior Policy Analyst

Erika Luna is a junior policy analyst with IISD’s Economic Law and Policy Program, focusing specifically on State of Sustainability Initiatives.

Prior to joining IISD, Erika Luna held research analyst positions at the University of British Columbia on projects related to gender data, organic agriculture standards, and crop diversity. At the University of California, Berkeley, she worked on projects related to the role of multilateral agencies on rural development programs in East Africa and Bangladesh. In addition, she worked for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations Mexico on the development of a farmers’ market project.

Erika Luna holds a Master’s of Science specialized in resources, environment, and sustainability from the University of British Columbia.

She is based out of Vancouver, Canada and speaks Spanish and English.
