Sofia Str\u00f6mg\u00e5rd is a communications officer with the Economic Law and Policy program. She serves as the communications lead for IISD\u2019s Infrastructure, Procurement, and Sustainable Finance programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sofia has over 7 years of experience working at the intersection of scientific and strategic communications. Prior to joining IISD, Sofia held communications positions at the European Council on Foreign Relations, Nordregio, The Swedish Choir and Music Association, and worked as a journalist for the Finnish broadcasting company Yle. She has expertise in impact monitoring, campaign planning, and content development.
Sofia completed her master\u2019s degree in politics and communications, as well as her bachelor’s degree in journalism and communication, at the University of Helsinki.
