Lysiane is a Project Assistant in the Economic Law and Policy Program, working out of Ottawa. She has a dual background in commerce and international affairs, with a thematic focus on global economic policy and a regional focus on China and East Asia.
Lysiane holds a master’s degree in international public management from Sciences Po Paris and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University. Her previous work history includes time at the United Nations Secretariat in New York, where her duties included conducting research for upcoming reports and publication updates, compiling statistics for presentations and statements, and liaising with Permanent Missions and Ministerial delegations for high-level events. She also previously held positions at the Government of Canada in Montreal and Quebec City.
