Jonas Goldman
Policy Analyst II
Jonas Goldman is a policy analyst II with the Economic Law and Policy program, focusing on trade and climate change. He specializes in the transition to a low-carbon economy, industrial policy, and clean energy strategy.
Before joining IISD, Jonas was a carbon market analyst for the Government of Nova Scotia Environment and Climate Change division, where he ensured compliance with the Nova Scotia Cap-and-Trade program and assessed the impacts of climate change on agriculture and energy investment. He has also been employed as a research associate for the Smart Prosperity Institute on the industrial policy file and as a parliamentary staffer.
He holds a Bachelor of Science from Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia and a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University, New York.
Jonas is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia and speaks English with intermediate knowledge of Spanish.
