Malmstr\u00f6m recalled that the European Commission would continue to negotiate the TTIP and other trade and investment agreements on behalf of the United Kingdom as an EU member state until Brexit is formalized.<\/p>\n<p>Among these are\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/trade.ec.europa.eu\/doclib\/press\/index.cfm?id=1516\">EU negotiations with MERCOSUR<\/a>, which resumed on June 23, and with Indonesia,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/trade.ec.europa.eu\/doclib\/press\/index.cfm?id=1528\">formally launched<\/a>\u00a0on July 18. Negotiating rounds with both partners are expected to take place sometime in the second semester.
