As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iisd.org\/itn\/en\/2024\/04\/02\/unidroit-and-icc-are-working-on-investment-contract-harmonisation\/\">reported earlier<\/a>, among the most consequential topics under discussion are stabilisation\/renegotiation\/adaptation clauses, hardship and force majeure, as well as dispute settlement and applicable law clauses. The Working Group\u2019s efforts regarding stabilization clauses, in particular, are to be watched, given the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iisd.org\/articles\/insight\/hidden-clauses-tax-investment-policy-reform\">recognized negative effect of such clauses on policy reforms<\/a>.
