This site was created by the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) to communicate subsidy data developed by IISD. It was created in 2020 and most recently updated in December 2022. In creating this platform, we have collaborated with the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) and the Vasudha Foundation to promote data transparency on the energy sector in India.
