IISD Experimental Lakes Area Fall Open House

Join us at our annual open house to learn what IISD-ELA science is all about! IISD-ELA scientists will be on-site to answer questions and discuss anything and everything related to environmental science and freshwater conservation.

You will have the opportunity to tour our entire research facility, including chemistry and fish labs, meteorological site and beautiful waterfront. Visit the world-famous Lake 239 and get your hands dirty catching fish in a seine net.

There will be a bus travelling to IISD Experimental Lakes Area from the Dryden Recreation Centre, departing at 8:00 am. The bus will also be stopping at the Shell Station on Highway 17 in Vermillion Bay at 8:30 am. The bus will return to Dryden for 5:30 pm.

Please contact Danielle at [email protected] or at 807 226 5162 ext. 225 to register today!

Light snacks and refreshments will be available on-site, but we ask that participants bring their own lunch. Please help us to reduce waste by minimizing the amount associated with your lunch.
