The Who<\/strong>, you might ask?\u00a0Digitization<\/em>\u2014<\/strong>where, over decades, we evolved the way we consume our music from vinyl, tapes, and CDs to digital platforms that allowed us to be enjoying music, sharing with friends, and\u00a0Dancing on My Own<\/strong>, much more easily.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Message<\/strong>\u00a0for the world\u2019s freshwater laboratory?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

When it comes to our unparalleled Long-Term Ecological Research database\u2014which has measured everything from the chemistry of our lakes to the health of our fish over 50 years\u2014The Times They Are a-Changin\u2019<\/strong>. Much like our music collections, we had to digitize our complex database.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Cure? God Only Knows<\/strong>\u2026<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Well, in fact, we know too.\u00a0No Surprises<\/strong>, over the past few years, our scientists, data\u00a0Heroes,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Super Troupers<\/strong>\u00a0have gotten\u00a0Into the Groove<\/strong>\u2014working hard to take our precious data from floppy discs and the backs of manilla envelopes to a\u00a0Higher Ground<\/strong>\u00a0digital platform with which we can understand, share, and reimagine our dataset.\u00a0Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
