Karen Kidd receives international environmental prize

"Kidd started out as a research scientist with Fisheries and Oceans Canada in Winnipeg, and at the Experimental Lakes Area in northwestern Ontario where she carried out a whole lake experiment with synthetic estrogen used in the birth control pill to understand how it impacts fish and the food web of the lake."
