"Dressed in a poorly fitting ‘onesie’ and rubber boots the trek out to Lake 239 – the lake adjacent to the poster child Lake 240 – was a quick one on a snowmobile. Lake 239 is a reference lake and needs to have samples drawn from the lake in the winter. Biologists Lee Hrenchuk and Ken Sandiland are part of the small group of scientists working at the ELA in the winter. They come out to draw samples twice in the winter, once in January and once in March."
