Keeping Our Fresh Water Lakes Free of Plastics: An essay/visual contest for IISD-ELA
Plastic pollution is one of the greatest threats to aquatic ecosystems in the world. We want you to help us solve it.
Students under the age of 18 can participate in our annual essay/visual contest! The contest is an excellent opportunity to offer interdisciplinary classroom resources, by encouraging graphic arts and language arts courses to engage in science!
A winner from each category is chosen for an all-expenses paid trip for two to IISD-ELA.
Topics change annually, and the contest launches in November for submissions to be made the following year. Scroll down to see some past topics and winners!
