Support the Future of Fresh Water this Holiday Season

Season’s greetings, everyone!

As our 50th year draws to a close and the lakes freeze over, we would like to thank everyone for making this our most successful research season on record. It saw new and unprecedented research on oil spills, a continuation of our legacy of work on acid rain, a celebration of 50 years of groundbreaking freshwater research and attention from across the globe.

Now we begin the next 50 years of freshwater research … and we need YOUR help. None of the groundbreaking research that protects fresh water around the world happen without your generosity.

Your donations host students from across Canada and equip them with the skills to become the freshwater guardians of tomorrow.

Your donations replace much-needed equipment used by our staff, students and partners alike.

Your donations allow high-school students to experience IISD Experimental Lakes Area for themselves.

This holiday season, please consider supporting the future of fresh water through a donation to the world’s freshwater laboratory.

The lakes may have frozen at IISD Experimental Lakes Area in Canada’s boreal forest, but the work, and the need for your generous donations, continues.
