Lama Abdellatif is a Project Assistant for IISD’s Resilience program and the NAP Global Network. Having lived and worked in Jerusalem, Halifax, Montreal and Ottawa, Lama brings over six years of experience in administrative management and program coordination with national and international stakeholders. Lama previously worked with USAID’s Jerusalem office as well as FedEx Ground in Ottawa where she provided administrative, management, budgetary, operational and logistical support. She is also an experienced language teacher, having taught both Arabic as a Foreign Language and English as a Second Language to youth and adult learners. Lama speaks English and Arabic fluently, and beginner-level French. Lama also holds a BA in Sociology and Social Anthropology from Dalhousie University.
