Program Manager, NAP Global Network
Christian Ledwell is the Program Manager for the National Adaptation Plan (NAP) Global Network, coordinating the Network’s efforts to support NAP processes in developing countries through South-South peer learning, national-level technical assistance, enhanced bilateral coordination, and knowledge management. He leads the Network’s thematic work on strategic communications for NAP processes.
Prior to joining IISD, Christian managed programming and communications strategies in roles with the public service as well as with inter-governmental and non-governmental organizations, including roles with the Government of Prince Edward Island, Government of Canada, the non-partisan environmental organization GreenPAC, and the Commonwealth Secretariat's program on economic and climate change policy in small states.
Christian has a master’s degree in Media, Communication and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a master’s degree in English from Dalhousie University. He is currently based in Ottawa.
