Catherine Senecal

Grants Officer, National Adaptation Plan (NAP) Global Network

Catherine Senecal is a Grants Officer with the IISD Resilience program managing in-country support for the National Adaptation Plan (NAP) Global Network.

Catherine has a wealth of experience in grants management and international development. After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Agriculture and Environmental Science, Catherine worked as a Professional Associate at the Brace Centre for Water Resources Management, McGill University where she contributed to water-focused projects in Brazil, Central Asia and the Caribbean region, addressing issues of integrated water resources management, climate change adaptation, climate change monitoring, water quality and habitat protection.

Within the NAP Global Network Secretariat, Catherine is lending particular support to national-level action on NAP development and implementation, aiming to ensure that these processes are effective and aligned with country-specific priorities.
