International Documents Dealing with the Rights of Women
There are many documents that have been developed internationally, regionally and nationally establishing the rights of women. Two of the most important documents are the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women and the Nairobi Forward Looking Strategies for the Advancement of Women. Both documents are summarized below.
