Discussion Forum

Hi! My name is Lani and I'll be your moderator for the discussion forum on climate change—how it will affect us and the people we know, and what we can do about it. This will be an awesome opportunity for you to talk about what matters to you with other young people across Canada and around the world. I am looking forward to talking with you and hearing your ideas.

The discussion forum will be open from February 2 to March 26, 1999. Over those eight weeks, we'll talk about the following:

  • What climate change means to you and how will it affect your life?
  • What would you tell your friends, family and co-workers about climate change?
  • What changes would you make to the way you live now and in the future to help prevent climate change from affecting your life?
  • What would you do to get people you know to make the same changes in their lives?

Each week, we'll also have two discussion questions: one on climate change and another on youth awareness and action.

This week's questions are:

Climate Change

Do you think it's too late to make a difference about climate change?

Youth Action and Awareness

'Youth can make a difference?' Do you agree or disagree? Why?
