What's NewDownload the draft of the Youth Strategy for Public Outreach on Climate Change. Let us know what you think. Send your comments to linnes@iisd.ca. WelcomeRemember the flood in Manitoba? How about the ice storm that devastated Ontario and Quebec? Do you see a pattern? All around us our climate is changing. Climate change is one of the most threatening environmental crises facing today's world. But you have a chance to do something about it. The Climate Change Youth Café is a place where young Canadians can meet on-line to discuss our climate crisis: how it will affect ourselves, our friends, our families and communities. This is your opportunity to find out more about climate change and to share your thoughts:
Climate change will change our futureour jobs, our local environment, our health and the way we live. By participating in this discussion forum you will make a difference: you can spread the word and do something about climate change. Your contribution will shape Canada's Youth Strategy for Public Outreach on Climate Change. The Youth Team from the International Institute for Sustainable Development is meeting with young people across the country to find out what concerns them most about climate change. Join the discussion forum and get your voice heard too! The Youth Strategy for Public Outreach on Climate Change will be submitted to the Public Education and Outreach Issue Table of the Climate Change Secretariat, an organization supported by Environment Canada and Natural Resources Canada. For more information, please contact: Please send any comments about the Web site to Lani Innes at linnes@iisd.ca. |
